Welcome:
Family, we are less than 6 months away from this much anticipated and needed 2010 Brown, Pickett, Dent, Ponder Family Reunion; and the excitement continues to build. To date, there are over 600 hits on our site! In addition, many have expressed their interest/plans to attend via e-mail and by phone.
Here's the deal.. In order for us to pull off this reunion successfully, we must translate "interest" and "web hits" to people actually registering for the reunion via this website. Of the 600+ hits, to date, less than 10 families have registered for the reunion.
Although deposits have been made to secure facilities for the reunion, before moving forward with additional plans, it is critical for those who are planning to attend to register via this website by the end of January. Since we are working with an outside vendor, we must have an accurate count by this date for those who plan on attending the reunion.
Regardless of your attendance plans, let's all do our part and (1) spread the word to ensure EVERYONE is aware of this site, and (2) help build the momentum for this event. If you are not planning on attending, please share that info on the site including your contact information. We will use this for future events.
Dates/Location/Registration:
The reunion will take place July 2nd, 3rd, & 4th (Friday - Sunday) at the Lakepoint State Park Resort located in Eufaula, Alabama. Please go to the "registration link" today and register including all of your family members and guest who plan to attend. For planning reasons, please register by Friday, February 19, 2010. This will help as we work with the facility to accommodate our family event.
